Dangerous waste
Dangerous waste is such waste that
may have one or more of the following
properties: fire or explosion risks,
potential infection risk, or other properties
dangerous to health and environment.
Dangerous waste must be stored properly
in the containers designed for such
waste or in other covered, sealed and
waterproof containers. Penetration
of dangerous waste into the soil, ground
water, surface water and sewer should
be prevented. To prevent leaks dangerous
waste must be packed tightly to
withstand transportation and handling.
Various types of dangerous waste should
not be intermingled with one another; or
with other types of waste or substances.

Scrap metal can be melted and
used almost indefinitely. Use
of recycled steel saves 40% of
the energy required to produce
steel from virgin material!
Each container of dangerous waste must
be labeled with a dangerous waste label
containing the following information:
name of the dangerous waste, holder
(company / person) as well as dangerous
properties of the waste. When handling
dangerous waste use appropriate protective
equipment depending on hazardous
properties of the waste; warning symbols
are visible on the package or container.
You can get information, help or advice
on transporting waste from hazardous
waste expert.
